A 20 centimeter long splinter of dry wood falls on the hard ground.

A small autocycle drives by on a forest trail - birds are singing on a sunny day. Heavy stereo effect, panning from right to left.

It originates in a different noise but it does sound characteristic for tearing something off.

Recording a small sized "wild" river from above a bridge. Runs through a german not very dense forest. It's roughly a meter deep and 20 meters across perhaps.

a 50 centimeter rivulet of flowing water recorded near where it joins the small river nearby at the edge of the woods. Mic is held orthogonaly to the flow to capture it more lively.

Shaking a aerosol can with few liquid left in it. It is an air duster.

A baby (2 months old) sneezes three times in a row. Must have been dust.

No cutting and pasting.

Gabbling of a two month old baby. First time it did this continous "communication" actually.

Recorded in a typical german chinese restaurant of mid size. This is not a fancy restaurant...it's standart. The restuarant is crowded with all kinds of people.

Could be a scanning device of advanced alien technology :)

A 4 minute ride on a train from one station to the next. Use good headphones, close your eyes, and it feels like you're moving - This sound has great impact on me.

This is the machine hum of a plastik-bottle shredder to be found in convenience stores. I expect that something inside is rotating pretty fast that shreds the bottles you put into it.

Cute machine sound, if you ask me.

Baby is 5 months old - male. Liing on its back and/or tummy on the floor on a thick blanket in a 4 by 3 meter lightly furnished room.

cuddly toy wound up clock. This wound up clock looks like a fluffy cloth bunny and has a wire to pull to wind up the chiming melody. Usually hangs at the bedside of a baby crib.

5x5cm wound up clock. This wound up clock is round and has a hook and can be used to let a wind mobile or another toy spin while playing the chime.
