Hello Beat,
that's really nice! Love to hear more! Imagine some of the folks around Librivox use it for some audiobook intros or podcasts. Wouldn't that be great?


Now unfortunatly i really need to bother you with some legal stuff. I must ask you:
"Are you absolutly sure you wan't to release this sound to the public domain?"


You basicly give up all your rights you hold on that creation. You need to know that this sounds can (in theory) now be used by whoever wants to for whatever he wants to do with it. This might be a student using it for his movie, but also a corporation in business using an inexpansive shortcut to get content.
It is possible that someone earns money with your sound and you'll never see a cent - are you okay with this possibility?


Personally i like the idea that people would use my crappy own sounds and find a way to make money with my amateur recordings. I'd be happy for them. What do you think?


Also i'd like to remind you, that by uploading you acknowledged that YOU are the true owner of all nescessary rights to make this piece a public domain sound - that you are creator and you were allowed to use the samples.
For instance, if i hold my microphone into nature and record then i can be sure that i hold the authorship rights on that recording. It's not that easy with musical compositions.


That said, i really don't want to put you off with all this legal inconveniences and i'd very much welcome more of your musical sound experiments. With your sound you were the first here to explore the boundary between sounds and music.


As you know i woulnd't allow music here. Yet yours is a snippet, a sound composition/experiment - and i love that.

I took the liberty to give your sound a title and also tagged it a bit.
You can give your sounds your own titles and tagging when you're uploading them. A title is essential in our library. Tagging helps significantly to make the sounds better findable.
