Indoor swimming pool - small childrens pool.
This pool is rectengular and the smaller of two basins in the hall. It's 10x15 meters and perhaps a meter deep. It's full of children playing. They have floating matresses on which they fight for dominance often.
This recording is done standing next to the pool, holdingh the mic high up in the air and pointing down to the water surface.
This gave a MUCH much clearer recording of the childrens-basin, compared to recording perpendicular to the groud - "pointing in the room". The other recording here picks up a lot more water-noise which oddly enough reminds me of pure pink noise.
The larger grown up basin would be in the back and generates a lot of noise reflecting all over the hall but by pointing down to childrens water surface it doesn't get picked up so much.
