Musical Box - La Boheme

A little 5x3x4cm box with a crank plays this little tune from Puccini's - "La Boheme".

I took it out of its paper box to have the metal "clockwork" with the pimpled drum in the open. The drum is mounted on a small wooden plate which i pressed on my wooden table top for reverberance.

The mic was standing on a mini-tripod on the same table, 20 cm away, pointing slightly down to the box. That's why a good portion of crank handling noise got picked up through the tripod. But when i decoupled the mic from the table the sound of the box was significantly more flat.
